NOMOS Glashütte has just introduced new blue dials to four models, all of which are in the Neomatik series and use the in-house DUW-3001 automatic caliber. The DUW-3001 (DUW stands for Deutsche Uhrenwerke, by the way) is the most vertically integrated movement, in terms of parts and manufacturing, of any movement used by NOMOS, with even the balance spring, balance, and lever manufactured in-house. Let's take a look at the new dial treatments for the new Nachtblau watches. The Metro Neomatik Nachtblau
The Metro line of replica watches was created by designer Mark Braun for NOMOS and has won several design awards since being introduced in 2014 ?these include the German Design Award, the Good Design Award, and the iF Product Design Award. The largest Metro replica watches are 38mm in diameter, but the Neomatik Nachtblau is on the smaller side at 35mm; overall the fake watch is just 8.06mm thick. This new color model retails for $3,960.The Minimatik Nachtblau
The Minimatik was the launch model for the in-house caliber DUW-3001 when it debuted in March 2015, and we covered the dual launch of both the movement and the watch. This is another very traditionally proportioned fake watch from NOMOS, at 35.5mm with a domed sapphire crystal and an overall height of 8.86mm. It retails for $3,800.ADVERTISEMENT The Tangente Neomatik Nachtblaue
Tangente has been around since 1992 and it's become iconic for the brand to such an extent that we're actually forced to use the phrase "iconic for the brand." The contrasting round and angled forms can be found in a range of sizes, from 33mm to 38mm, and it has won so many design awards that it would be impractical to list them all here. The Neomatik Nachtblau version is 35mm in diameter and quite slim at just 6.9mm. The price on this version is $3,580.The Tetra Neomatik Nachtblau
The NOMOS Tetra gets its name from the Greek prefix "tetra" (which means, approximately, four of something, as in "Tetrahedron"). Until this year's Baselworld, the Tetra was one of the smallest replica watches made by NOMOS, at either 27mm square or 29.5mm square. We went hands-on with the new 33mm square models last June and found them just terrific; they feel very contemporary on the wrist and wear bigger than you'd think from the numbers (in a good way).
With the Nachtblau dial treatment, this looks to be a very striking new variation on the Tetra design indeed; square replica watches aren't for everyone, but for the Tetra 33 in general, and the Nachtblau version in particular, I think might make a person not generally interested in the shape consider making an exception. This fake watch is 33mm square and 7.2mm thick, and like the other Nachtblau models you see here, 3 atmospheres water resistant. Retail price is $3,980.Nomos Nomos-minimatik Nomos Orion 38 Replica watch Review 11308
